Majlis Berbuka Puasa PAKKT 2009

Selamat Berbuka Puasa to all Muslim as they are fasting during the Month of Ramadan for the year 2009. Our AJK's for PAKK Temenggong and also our JKM Staff Pn. Maimunah and Pn. Sarah came for the breaking of Fast at our centre. Our Chairman of Children Protection Team Programme: En. Khairu Asri bin Ismail (PKMDS I) came to join with our Chairman of PAKK Temenggong: Tn. Hj. Mohd Said bin Putih to welcome these PAKK Temenggong Kids joining us for the breaking of Fast which is a must to all Muslims.

As you can see the new colour and settings of our PAKK Temenggong to make it more beautiful and cheerful for these kids to come to relax their minds and mingles with other new friends to build a new relationships of friends from the age of 7 years old to 18 years old.

We do also have volunteers consists of three friends of mine who helps me if needed from time to time. They are Pn. Nor Shafiatun binti Syafiee, Pn. Norhamiah binti Abdullah and Pn. Fardiah binti Abdul Hamid. Each of them have their own abilities where i find it very useful for PAKK Temenggong. Pn. Nor Shafiatun use to be a professional tradisional dancer when she was a teenager and now she helps me with dancing activities . Pn. Norhamiah knows how to cook and sew. So she helps me the zapin's clothes stitching and sewing them in time for any performances . Pn. Fardiah is good at cleaning, cooking and even barbecue and always available to help . So my special thanks to them for helping me with the Centre since 2005 till now.

My thanks to all who came to our breaking of Fast (Itaf) ceremony and may Allah bestowed bless upon you in the month of Ramadhan. My thanks to the Government of Malaysia for giving PAKKs all over Malaysia a Financial Budget that are well received by us through Jabatan Kebajikan Masyarakat Malaysia and was well spend.

I am happy for all that is happening here in our PAKK Temenggong and i hope our PAKK Temenggong Kids are happy too with the new look in our Centre. New programmes are being discussed and i am sure there will be more activities and programmes that involved children of all ages from 7 years old to 18 years... .... I hope they will benefit and make use of PAKK for leisure, sports, culture, group studies and religious activities.

I want these kids to open their minds about not just learning to receive but also learn how to give back in return. What we want from these kids is that they should become better person with better personalities and better future if they know what they want in life.

Some of these kids especially boys , they sometimes doesn't know what they want in life. Their perspective of life is simple is to ENJOY LIFE....... but we must teach them that enjoying life doesn't mean we lose our abilities to become better person with commitments in life.

Being committed doesn't mean we are being control..... actually we are controlling our life rather than life controlling us if we know how......

These kids doesn't know how to control their life and they rather follow other friends to control them cos they don't have their own identity for themselves....they are confuse and blurry in what they should do after school. Co-curriculum is important that is why school and universities have them.....Studying is good...it freshen our minds to new worlds of new words of information's but
" All study and no play makes a Jack dull......" if you know what it means......

Nowadays kids most of their time spent their lives in school and after school and so little time at home....so the influence are greater outside than inside home. The influence of friends are highly risk if they choose the wrong friends as nobody in this world is perfect. Yes, influence in home also are important to their being friendly outside world..... what our family teaches us also influence our self-being ..... that's why Islam says what our parents teaches us at home will reflect our image outside.... how the words spoken, attitude, the way of thinking, characterisation and our religious aspect of life.

So much to do here but if we support just a little bit of humane feelings towards our kids to make a change in their life just by broaden their minds will be a start ....... so never give up on our kids even if they are naughty or bad or just being nobody.....a helping is a start to pursue them on the right path.....don't let it go to waste.....money spend.....motivational talking..... counseling....acitivities....make them feel good about themselves....open their minds to what they want to be in life...a painter, a dancer..... a tailor.... a cook...... a carpenter..... anything as long they don't up ending their life as a drug addict...... a hooker.... a killer..... a thief.......it will be a mess if most of them becomes one of these people.....i don't think we want our country full with these futures....we have to tell them they can be better than these.... they were not born to be like these futures......i think they themselves don't want to be like these unless they have no choice cos nobody cares..... Am i right? As the Malay proverbs one says: "Engkau engkau....aku aku..."

Is this what Islam all about? I don't think so........Islam is much more than these.....much more you can imagine....believe it ..... Islam is magical.....wonderful.....if we know what it means committed to Islam.....so easy but we feel it is difficult..... cos everything is in our mind.....what we think , feels.....is in our mind......if we think it is difficult..... then it will be difficult...but if we thinks it is easy..... then it will be easy eventually......nothing goes easy without a price....but if we believe then it will become easy........
